How to tell budgie genders apart :)
Before you decide to breed your Budgies, it's always helpful to know their genders!
(Young budgies' genders can be difficult to determine until they are about 12 months of age.)
Female Budgies
Adult female budgies will usually, at a young age, have white/very pale blue ceres. When mature, they will usually have tan or flaky brown ceres.
Male Budgies:
The typical adult male budgie has a blue cere, however, sometimes a male budgie can have a
purple cere as well. Most baby male budgies have a pinkish cere.
